Why does CFIRA Matter?

Over 100 Members have voluntarily joined our community, encouraging all companies, investors, third party service providers, and students to advocate, lobby and to create a society that will become the blueprint for a new way of life – one that is more equitable, tolerant and entrepreneurial. As a result of our collective success, individuals and communities will enjoy greater economic opportunity.

Title II and III of the JOBS Act was signed into legislation on April 5, 2012, CFIRA which will unleash capital formation for startup and emerging companies while fostering the private placement marketplace for non-accredited investors.

CFIRA hopes that you are inspired, not just by our vision, but by the crowdfunding movement that will translate ideas into action. The Crowdfunding community distinguishes themselves by offering a positive vision of a better way of raising capital and spurring job creation. Startup and Emerging Companies have the opportunity to create more jobs and improve the quality of life in our society by offering new resources to raise capital. As the crowdfunding investing industry matures for equity and debt based investments, it will become an increasingly powerful change agent.

Passing the law for the JOBS Act allows us all too actively drive the Capital Markets.
